How much does a Texas real estate license cost?
With School Estate's current PROSPER pricing, a typical first-time applicant can expect an estimated total of $854 with X6 or $954 with X6+ Accelerator. That combines tuition with about $286 in currently listed TREC application, exam, and fingerprint fees, paid separately from School Estate.

What the $286 in outside fees covers.
Paid to the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) to file your original Sales Agent license application. This fee funds the state's review of your application, not your coursework.
Paid to Pearson VUE, TREC's exam administrator, to schedule and sit for the licensing exam. This is separate from TREC's application fee and from School Estate tuition.
Paid to IdentoGO, the fingerprint vendor TREC directs applicants to for the required background check. If TREC already has acceptable fingerprints on file for you, this fee may not apply.

What School Estate tuition includes.
Both X6 and X6+ Accelerator include the same core program.
