Book an IdentoGO by IDEMIA appointment ($37) so your fingerprints are on file with the Texas Department of Public Safety for the DPS/FBI background check. 4. Pending Exam: your exam authorization arrives
When TREC decides you're eligible, your status changes to Pending Exam, and the exam authorization email follows within 24-48 hours. That's the end of TREC's up-to-four-week review window. Schedule your exam with Pearson VUE online or by phone, at least 24 hours ahead ($43).
