Is the whole course online?
Yes. You will take the course and test online.
You can even start or stop the course anytime you want, then pick it
up at a later time.
What is the cost of the
course and what methods of payment are accepted?
The cost of each course is located in the course catalog. You may pay
using all major credit cards (Visa®, MasterCard®,
Discover® or American Express®) or Telecheck®.
Is it secure to send
my credit card information over the Internet?
Yes, we use a secure Web site to process all monetary transactions.
Can I take the course
from various locations and computers?
The courses are available to you from any computer that has Internet
access.
I am not very good on the
Computer!
Expertise is not required! Take time to read and listen carefully
to the course, and follow the instructions.
What happens after I
complete a pre-license or SAE course?
For completion of any 30 hour pre-license or 30 hour SAE courses(s),
including a pre-license package, an automatic notification to the University
will be submitted. The University will mail you a certificate of course
completion to the address you provided during course enrollment, and
it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to submit a copy of the certificate to TREC
for credit.
What happens if I get
disconnected from the Internet?
If you get disconnected from the Internet, then you will need to log
back into your account. If this happens, then you will be returned to
the beginning of the lesson that you were working on when you were disconnected.
What happens if I have
technical difficulties or the system malfunctions during the course?
If you experience any problem while taking the course, then please call
1-888-360-8764 or E-mail SUPPORT for
assistance. We provide customer service 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Can I take this course
with the AOL® browser?
You can take the course with any browser of your choosing, including the AOL® browser. although we
do not support the AOL® browser. We do suggest that
you use another browser while signed on with AOL®. To
do this, log in to AOL® and minimize the program. While
still connected to the Internet, click on the START button in the lower
left-hand corner of your screen. Click PROGRAMS, and then click INTERNET
EXPLORER®. The program icon will have a blue "e."
Do I need to use a
PC? What if I have a Macintosh?
If you have a MAC®, then you can still sign on to take
any of our classes. If you have a MAC®, then you will need the latest version
of Internet Explorer®, Mozilla Firefox or Safari as well as the latest version of
the Macromedia Flash Player®.
Do I need to have sound
on my computer to take these classes?
While sound is another feature of our courses, it is not necessary for
a customer to have sound in order to learn the course material or complete
the course. All information played in audio is also displayed in text
by the course player.
How do I get a username
or password? What do I use it for? What should I do if I forget it?
The username and password is selected by the student. It should be something
that you can easily remember. We suggest using your E-mail address. You
will use the same username and password each time you attempt to log
in to the virtual university page to access your course. This information
is entered in the returning students section on the homepage of the virtual
university. If you forget your password, then you can call 1-888-360-8764
to request it.
I am being asked to download
the latest version of Macromedia Flash. Why do I have to do that?
You may not be able to view/complete your course(s) or take part
in any quiz or testing if you have not updated or installed the latest
version of Macromedia Flash.
I have completed my MCE
course(s) and have passed the tests. Do I have to do anything else
to get my credit?
After completing your course, you will be required to print out the
Alternative Delivery Form and fax it to the school. You will be provided
with the link to the form at the end of each course. Upon receipt of
the Alternative Delivery Form, the school will notify the Real Estate
Commission.
Can I get back into my course
once I have completed it?
No, you cannot get back into the course once you have completed it. If
for some reason you got back in the course, then failed... well, you
can imagine.
I'm locked out! What do
I do?
If you get locked out, please call Technical Support (888-360-8764 x2).
You can always start
on your next course while waiting for the other course to get unlocked.

- Sound Card with speakers - online courses do have
sound
- SVGA video card, monitor, and driver - settings at
least 800x600
- Your own Internet Connection - minimum 56Kbps recommended
